Since childhood, I’ve seen all the peaks and valleys of running your own show first-hand and know it’s not always a picnic.  It takes timing, sacrifice, tenacity and determination. Not to mention a lot of energy, creativity, planning, patience and perseverance. And of course, a little luck! We all make mistakes. However, we also learn from them.  And the rewards are definitely worth it! I guess that’s why I can’t imagine working any other way.

The world is undergoing a big shift.  It may seem like there is a tremendous amount of turmoil and instability in our society.  It may appear that it’s harder then ever to succeed.  It may feel easier to tell yourself and perhaps others around you that people aren’t spending money.   The belief that it’s difficult to be in business for yourself these days seems to be spreading.  And it’s exceptionally limiting.
